Lead the technical direction for the software team to build high-quality, high-performance, scalable code. Engineer components, and common services based on standard corporate development models, languages and tools. Produce system design documents and lead technical walkthroughs. Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Mentor team-members to continuously improve the architecture. Embrace change and ramp-up the team accordingly. Must be able to document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, diagrams, code comments, and clear code. Description: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering. 3-5 years of significant experience in application development using core Java, J2EE and SQL Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development. Extensive knowledge of system architecture, object-oriented design, and Java/J2EE and design patterns. Experience in Unix Shell scripting Experience in web software development, including HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery. Knowledge of message systems i.e. Sonic Broker Messaging, MSMQ / RabbitMQ / ZeroMQ Understanding of product versioning, packaging and deployment Esper/CEP, complex event processing experience is a plus.
