*Title: Cognos Reporting Application Developer* *Location: Brooklyn, NY (OR) Tampa, FL* *Duration: 6 months CTH* *Interview: Phonic + F2F * *Visa: Need GC & Citizens only* *Job Description:* The Cognos Reporting Team Lead will be responsible for design and implementation of a Cognos based reporting shared service. This includes defining reporting approaches, best practices, system design, tuning, and performance, and also data cube loading, security, retrievability, and maintenance. This person will be a Subject Matter Expert for Cognos reporting leading a team of developers in building out and supporting the Cognos shared service. The Cognos Reporting Team Lead must have a sound understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) best practices, relational structures, dimensional data modeling, structured query language (SQL) skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques but most importantly must be an expert in Cognos reporting capabilities and implementations. The Cognos Reporting Team Lead is responsible for the successful delivery of BI information to the entire organization and is experienced in BI development and implementations, data architecture and data warehousing.
