*Job Description::*
The Java Developer will be an integral part of each phase of the software
development lifecycle including design, development, deployment and
maintenance. The primary focus will be on enhancing our Ecommerce
platforms, developing custom facing applications, and the ability to work
with or in existing store brands.
*Required Skills:: *
· 5+ years web application development, object oriented, Java focus
· Java/JEE development (analysis, design, development, unit testing)
· Strong analytical and communication skills
· Experience with Retail merchandizing and Ecommerce is a very strong plus
· Knowledge of BCC pricing tool within Oracle ATG
*Additional Skills preferred:: *
· Proficient in Java or J2EE
· Experience with Oracle’s ATG 10.x BCC pricing components - especially
the Flex UI
· Experience with related browser technologies including JSP, JSON, REST,
HTML, AJAX, CSS
· Demonstrated expertise with Java Unit Testing frameworks
· Expertise with JavaScript unit testing with tools like Grunt, Karma and
Jasmine
· Proficient with Git and similar source control tools
· Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Sonar, etc)
· Experience with a Web Application Service like Apache Tomcat or JBOSS
· Oracle Commerce (ATG) version 10/11
· Experience with ATG REST services a plus
· Linux/UNIX/Solaris a plus
· Understanding of OO principles and design patterns
· Self-starter, ready to learn new concepts and technologies. Willing to
take on responsibility for new features and develop them from inception to
completion.
