Mobile Development, Location: Roseville CA Duration: 6+ months Preferred Knowledge and Skills: Experience with Mobile Development in following areas: · Develop intuitive, usable and engaging interactions and visual designs for hybrid mobile apps for iOS, Android and Windows platform. · In depth knowledge of CSS behaviors in iOS, Android and Windows platforms. · Create icons using Adobe Photoshop. · Programming Skills in HTML5,CSS, SCSS, COMPASS JavaScript using frameworks like Apache Cordova/ PhoneGap, Sencha, Touch, Ext JS, jQuery/JQuery Mobile/AJAX. · Android Design and Develop client applications utilizing Android SDK, Eclipse + ADT plugin, ADT (Android Developer Tools) or Android Studio. · Apple iOS Strong iOS, Objective-C and UI Kit development skills. · Apple iOS Design and Develop client applications utilizing Apple iOS SDK, Apple XCode including deployments through the Apple iTunes App Store. · Win 8.x Phone Design and Develop client applications utilizing Windows Phone SDK, Visual Studio. · Experience in .net or Java. · Experience with REST web services, JSON a plus but not required. · Experience working with QA and testing tools for mobile applications. · Experience with source control management tool, such as Apache Subversion and Clear Case a plus. · Ability to work in a fast paced environment. · Experience with all phases of the development life cycle. · Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development process and continuous integration. · Familiarity Windows and MacOSx operating system. Responsibilities: · Designs limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including batch type ETL programs to extract, transform, and load data from a Windows file and SQL Server based system to a new cloud based system via RESTful web services. · Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines. · Create design deliverable such as specifications, process flows, wire-frames and mock-ups. · Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements. · Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem. · Work closely with product owners and usability specialists to develop user research and usability tests. · Collaborate with cross-function teams as well as the greater UX team throughout the design process. Description · Mobile Application Developer to participate in the development of Mobile apps running on top market platforms. · The developer will work closely with the business owners, product management and the engineering team during the entire product lifecycle, from concept to delivery and post launch support. Experience and Education: · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. · Must have hands-on working experience developing apps from multiple platforms – iOS and Android preferred. · Experience in developing, deploying, and/or supporting an enterprise size solution. · Minimum 2 to 4 years' experience.
