Duration: 6+ Months Contract Rate: Best and Open Position Abstract: A successful candidate will be a software engineer with at least 5 years of experience working with Production Management software. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with the Energy Components software suite from Tieto, and specifically with the EC Production module (experience with other modules is a plus). Some EC configuration experience is required. The candidate should have good communication skills and will be expected to interact with clients and/or project team members regularly. Knowledge of other common Production Management tools is a plus. Responsibilities may include: Ø Determine and document business requirements. Ø Define EC configuration requirements to meet business requirements. Ø Configuration of EC-IS for data imports / exports. Ø Assist customers with their EC reporting needs, on various platforms. Ø Diagnose data flow issues related to EC and interfacing solutions. Ø Diagnose data integrity issues in the EC database. Ø Troubleshoot possible issues within EC Allocation calculations. Ø Required Skills include: Ø Production Management business knowledge. Ø Experience with one major SQL-based Oracle tool (e.g., TOAD, Manage IT). Ø Working knowledge of PL/SQL. Ø Troubleshooting data issues. Ø Working functional knowledge of Scada systems / Data Archives (e.g., Wonderware, OSI PI). Industry experience required.
