SAP SD EDI Technical Analyst
Requirements:
.Looking for 7+ years working experience with the SD and EDI module of SAP
.Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
.Ability to develop and deploy creative / original solutions to business
problems
.Must be self-motivated and apply good judgment and decision-making skills
.Must possess a mindset to objectively view and effectively explain an issue
or resolution from an end-user/customer/business perspective
.Previous experience working in supporting applications in team
environments.
.Must possess excellent communication skills
EDI Technical skills:
.Obtaining customer electronic interface requirements and matching them with
solutions available within the organization
.Assist users and IT staff in troubleshooting and resolving EDI issues
.Experience exchanging documents in EDI X12 for both inbound and outbound
transactions and multiple versions: 810, 812, 820, 821, 824, 830, 846, 850,
855, 856, 860, 861, 864, 865, 875, 940, 943, 944, 945, 204 and 214
.Experience exchanging financial standards such as BAI2 and MT940 for both
inbound and outbound transactions.
.Creating test plans and test files and conducting testing with trading
partners
.Developing EDI specifications and mapping documents for various translators
GIS, GXS etc.
.Experience of SAP IDOC technology, IDOC structures, IDOC user exists is
must.
.Expertise in troubleshooting/re-processing SAP IDOC failures
.Knowledge of EDIFACT standards.
.Setting up ALE between two SAP systems and mapping the IDOC to initiate
flow of document between the systems.
.Experience with EDI communications such as VAN, FTP, SFTP, AS2 and VPN.
