Business Analyst Portland OR 12-18 months Required : Specific Application Functional Design Skills: As an Application Designer for the Logical based suite of mobile scheduling and dispatch applications, the resource will be working with business SMEs, project team, technical developers, and project stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the following activities: Design the packaged software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements. Use the business process requirements to drive out application requirements and metrics. Assist in defining and reviewing requirements for the application. Validate the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements. Supervise other designers or programmers in completing designs where necessary. Inform the solution/technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect other areas of the project. Participate in quality management reviews, ensuring the application design and related work products satisfy the requirements. Develop an application prototype and conduct conference room pilot to validate the configuration design and explore packaged software gap resolution options Minimum Requirements: 3+ years experience working with large scale application data analytics, functionality, reporting. Preferred- Bachelors degree or equivalent specializing in Information Management, Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering sciences System/application design, configuration, testing, and implementation system integrations Experience with Configuring Logica Software Experience using IMFPlus as an Integration Tool Experience with creating Mobile Forms within the Logica Toolset Preferred Skills: Utility industry skills - Transmission and Distribution business processes and capabilities including work management, resource management, asset management, field force enablement, etc. Experience with Work and Asset management suite of applications specifically for Electric utilities across various industry leading vendors (Logica, GE, etc.) Regards ============= Awaise Ahmed Sr.Technical Recruiter, CAT Technology Inc.
