Wishes of the day, Please find the requirement details below *Job Title:SharePoint Admin/Developer * *Location:NYC,NY* *Duration : 6 Months* *Rates: $50/hr C2C* *Job Desc:* This is a hybrid SharePoint role - candidates need to have experience in admin, migration, configuration tools and able to read/write code (SQL / C# dev) Any architecture will be a PLUS. Candidates need to have great communication skills. Have done atleast 2 SharePoint Migration projects and okay with doing analyst work. The candidate should have knowledge on SharePoint administration, as migrating a SharePoint farm from one environment to another requires understanding of certain administrative areas such as user profiles, de/reattaching databases, and SSP configuration. Although he/she does not require in depth development knowledge, the candidate should be able to read/understand code and have the ability to write code to perform simple automated task such as taking data from a local or network location and inserting it into SharePoint. Successful candidates should be comfortable developing SharePoint Web Parts, Features, Event Receivers, and Timer Jobs and be familiar with the SharePoint Client Object Model as well as Business Catalog Services. Candidates will also need to have developer level SQL skills and be comfortable designing tables, creating stored procedures, and writing complex queries. Familiarity with SSIS or a similar ETL platform, JavaScript / JQuery skills, and the ability to read Access VBA are all a plus. All candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
