Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* SR QA Test Engineer *Project Location* Durham, NC *Duration* 12 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* As a QA Engineer, you will participate in and be a key contributor to the efforts related to our Strategic Investment Products and Data. Primary Responsibilities Work closely with other teams including development, systems analysis, business analysis, project management, database administration, as well as other QA engineers. Primary Responsibilities • Review project documentation including business requirements, systems requirements, system prospectus, and technical design specifications • Design and develop test cases and data to validate requirements using HP Quality Center 10 • Ensure full traceability between requirements and test cases using the requirements module in Quality Center 10 • Develop and maintain regression suites of tests for supported applications • Document defects detected during various phases of the lifecycle • Conduct project defect triage meetings with development and analysis to ensure that defects are well understood and fixed in a timely manner • Use Advanced SQL techniques to perform test data analysis and creation, test case development, and execution • Provide test status to QA management and project teams using a variety of standard metrics • Collaborate with team members on process improvements and innovative validation techniques to improve time to market and project cost Education and Experience • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience • Previous development or systems analysis experience a plus • Minimum of two years of software quality assurance experience • Data Warehouse and Web Services testing experience desired Skills and Knowledge • Advanced SQL Skills • Solid understanding of Oracle specific concepts and data types • Defect tracking and test case management skills • Understanding of Data Warehousing design concepts • Big Data / Hadoop testing experience a plus • Web Services testing using Parasoft SOATest or SoapUI a plus • Test automation experience a plus, especially if it is relevant to data warehouses *Focus is on ETL and webservices* Thanks & Regards, *Deepak Gulia* *Technical Resource Specialist* *RG Talent Inc* *39120 Argonaut way* * Suite # 157, Fremont CA 94538* Phone : 510-443-0758 Ext - 139 Email : dee...@rgtalent.com <dee...@rgtalent.com> URL : www.rgtalent.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
