The individual’s primary responsibilities include architecture and framework extensions, development of services and components (design, coding, testing), system/subsystem definition. Position requires extensive hands-on technical expertise coupled with ingenuity, product knowledge, industry knowledge, and communication skills. Will work with other team members, architects and product owners in the early and continuous delivery of high quality software products that delight our customers. The ADP DS Engineering team is a group of fun, pragmatic, full stack engineers with multi-language coding skills focused on engineering excellence and continuous improvement. Must be a results oriented individual, who can readily demonstrate comprehensive use of agile software development principles to achieve the desired business outcome. *As a software engineer with ADP DS your responsibilities will include:* Transform ADP’s automotive dealership software solutions Work closely with product development teams in a collaborative environment following an agile methodology *Level4:* Provide technical and/or consulting leadership with extensive knowledge of dealerships, manufacturers, products, applications, methodologies, and technologies Design, develop, and test both the client and server side of modern web applications Participate in peer architectural and code reviews to improve the overall quality of our solutions *Level4:* Improve software functionality, quality, or development productivity with advanced development techniques or tools, utilities, and technology advancements Get involved in the local software community by attending meet-ups, conferences, contributing to open source projects, and blogging Focus on the business problems of our customers using a domain driven design approach Be part of a team of world class engineers having a large impact on the automotive industry *We realize that everyone’s situation is unique, however our general guidelines for requirements include:* BS/BA or Masters Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent 5+ years programming experience required, preferably in building enterprise web solutions. 3+ years of experience with .NET/C# and agile is desired.
