Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* Senior SAP QA Engineer/Analyst *Project Location* New York City, NY *Duration* 10 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI:-Telephonic+FacetoFace* the ideal candidate will have extensive qa skills which includes analyzing specs, writing scripts, tracking results and tracking defects. must have 5+ solid years of experience focused on testing. assist our client with their third release of sap which will include the pp, otc, hr and scm modules. the sap qa engineer will participate in test planning but the test strategy will be established prior to onboarding. be responsible for writing manual test scripts and be able to run both manual and automated tests. organize and manage other qa analysts. our client's other functional team will be writing and executing many of the functional scripts, but this team will help organize the scripts in the qc-alm test plan module, as well as organizing test sets for various phases of testing in the test lab so that accurate test status reporting can be generated. functional knowledge should include extensive fashion/retail experience, at the very least, retail industry experience with strong knowledge of the sap modules that apply to finance and supply chain. *required skills: * experience using hp quality center (alm) with hp sprinter and qtp. strong business knowledge in sap finance, hr, and scm modules (scm for retail / fashion management specifically) detail oriented but able to understand the “big picture” - integration testing will be a key element of the project. strong technical skills and understanding of the sap environment landscape. excellent verbal communication skills and *impeccable* writing skills, especially when it comes to scripting. leadership skills – will need to be able to motivate others to complete tasks and provide support / guidance as needed. excellent ms office skills (especially ms excel) ability to work well in a team / war room environment ability to train others on tools and processes *desired skills: * experience with database querying, data conversion/validation, edi, sap solution manager, and qc/solution manager integration would be a huge plus! performance testing tools such as loadrunner would be a plus.
