*Job Title :BI Analyst/Developer * *Location : NYC,NY* *Location : 6-9 month* *Rates : $50/hr C2C ( may have some flexibility) * *Job Desc:* We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst with excellent communication skills as this is a client facing role. They need to have knowledge of finance data and working with the business to gather requirements and do some QA work (identifying differences between the Business requirements and the actually development). MUST be hands on still and able to do coding/development. (This is 60% business /40% dev type position) Successful candidates will be comfortable designing and implementing enterprise-scale SQL Server relational databases and SQL Server Analysis Services cubes, as well as designing complex queries in SQL, MDX, DDL, and DML. Candidates must be comfortable developing reports, KPIs, and Dashboards to be displayed through SQL Server Reporting Services, SharePoint, PowerPivot, and Excel Services. A Power User-level understanding of SharePoint is strongly desired, and familiarity with other BI systems and other SQL Services (e.g. SQL Server Integration Services) are a big plus. All candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
