Provide technical project management leadership for distributed enterprise application development projects in client Development & Support. Projects involve a mix of agile and UP programming methodologies, collaborative work environment, and iterative development with a high level of team interaction. 2. Provide direction to system analysts, developers, and/or engineers regarding the development, administration, configuration, and/or implementation of automated solutions for existing and new systems. 3. Identify and analyze operational impacts of new projects, services, infrastructure, enterprise information systems, and/or automated systems. Address the most complex customer problems and/or issues as necessary. 4. Responsible for planning, estimating, tracking, and reporting status on tasks. 5. Work closely with technical leads, project managers, and upper management to identify dependencies, coordinate project plans, escalate risks and issues, and report on status and progress for each project. 6. Facilitate communication between groups within Client's Development & Support, as well as with other groups across the Client System. Work closely with these groups as they: • Define business and technical requirements • Develop high-level and detailed architectures and designs • Implement the system with the required tools and technologies • Test the completed components 7. Provides input to the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and safeguards. * *Qualifications* *:* * Required Skills and Experience: The person selected will be part of a team responsible for developing the next generation of client's processing software following a modified agile process. The person must have experience as both a developer and a project manager, possess superlative interpersonal and communication skills, and be an effective team player. Additional skills and experience include: 1. Five or more years of technical project management experience, including demonstrated skill in planning, estimating, and tracking, as well as in making recommendations for adjusting project plans as needed. 2. Experience resolving complex system problems in a team setting, including evaluation of options to determine optimal solution. 3. Demonstrated experience implementing solutions requiring complex technologies in an enterprise environment requiring integration between the mainframe and distributed platforms. 4. Requires eight years or more of information services experience to include five years application development experience in a distributed Java/J2EE environment. 5. Three years experience working in an Agile Development environment 6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a team. a. Strong conflict resolution skills using a win/win approach. b. Communicates proactively in a project environment with colleagues and management on a wide variety of project issues. Key skills include issue identification and resolution, status updating, and analyzing and reporting on alternative design solutions. c. Communicates effectively on complex technical matters to non-technical audiences, including the client business community. Communications could include presentations, documentation, memos, etc. Deliverables: 1. Project management deliverables, including release plans, iteration plans, task lists, issues, risks, status reports, etc. 2. Development milestones completed in a timeframe consistent with the project road map and project plans. 3. Ongoing input to the project leadership teams on critical tasks and/or issues. 4.
