So default .config should replicate
itself in busybox and those want to minimize the footprint would
disable the option.
If you call busybox with no arguments it prints the list of applets
it includes. This is enough for me, isn't it for you?

from which has been generate (better if stored in compressed form).
Kernel use .config too but share it via /proc (for obvious reasons). I
know people can save .config somewhere in the target system (where?)
