Randy, I agree with Rick H and Bill C.  I am in the 20WPM comfort zone and 25+ during contests.  I also have a key collection on display (~100 keys).  I have several examples of each as discussed below if you want to see/feel/touch/use any on the air.   Used prices are "typical" for good

Randy, More info --- Paddles come in two flavors….single lever and Iambic (squeeze key)……the Iambic paddles are more popular ( I think), but if you are not going to use Iambic keying then a single lever paddle will work just fine for you. The Iambic does not have to be used in the squeeze
