I have an radio shack HTX-202 and 404 that both need the internal
batteries replaced. I'm not confident doing it. Is there anyone that can
help? Please let me know. According to what I can find on the internet, in
addition to the battery I'll need to find the holders as well.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but for the cost of the batteries and
time, you can get a nice shiny new dual-band Baofeng or Wouxun HT.

If they are similar to the memory batteries in a computer, EPO ought to
have them, they had surface mount holder and the battery for my old
Compaq Desk Pro 1000 with Windows XP
