your calamity. We moved to the Heights from Meyerland 10 years ago where it
flooded twice from Braes Bayou overflowing.

We just got back from Denver last night. Took 2 hours to get home from Hobby.
Our first flight was cancelled. Came back by way of Oklahoma City.
All safe here, but recorded close to 30".
Btw, my luggage is lost somewhere.

Just talked to our neighbor across the street and he had a foot of water.
Counting our blessings. I'm praying for all that are being impacted by this.
Stay safe.

Keith,
Likewise, sorry to hear this. Let's all see how we fare out, then, if
possible, help fellow ham buddies, like you, as needed.
We haven't raised our furniture yet, but have all staged if we need to.

Didn't get water inside house in Deer Park, but have a few inches in
front part of garage.
Got phone call from city, Deer Park has an "Anti-Wake" ordinance in
effect when streets are flooded,
aimed at preventing property damage, drive too fast on flooded streets,
get fined up to $ 2,500.
Now we don't but we have all the important stuff put up high. Thanks
