1200 or 1200S?? The motherboards are different and the 1200 can't be upgraded like the 1200S or A models..Kirk Gurber at www KGElectronics.com is the man you need..he's a former IFR engineer and repairs 500s and 1200s exclusively..knows them better than anyone... reasonable pricing too.. Chris WB

Marvin, congrats on your advance to General. I have a 2 Mx mag mount mobile antenna that you are welcome to have, gratis, just takes a quick trip to Sharpstown. (59 and Beechnut) Has a 19 inch whip, about 12 feet of coax with a PL-259. Very good shape. Contact me direct only please. rickhi
