I can drive through the area tomorrow morning if it still transmitting.
btw it seems that the repeater is still working though unless something
else is also transmitting on the repeater's output frequency. I can also
hear a cell phone vibrator sound occasionally.

A starting point is what is needed. Again, this is the reason that everyone
needs to have their time-out-timer set.

I'm not sure if Motorola Online (if I recall correctly) still exists but
they sell batteries for Motorola HTs. You would need an account with
them though.

Obviously there is no guarantee that the stuck mic station is someone on the

starting point.

Upon further investigation, the stuck mic appears to be near the Memorial and
Eldridge area.
If anyone knows any one near that area, have them check their radios for a
stuck mic.

Currently the repeater is turned off due to a stuck mic. The problem started
just before noon and the Stir Crazy NET and is still happening after two hours.
It appears the offender is in the SW Houston area somewhere between Westpark

Ive had success over the years from Batteries America. As matter of fact, I
just ordered a new battery from them this week for my D-Star HT. But they
offer batteries for Motorolla and hobby stuff.. and lots of other things. Fair
price.

Hi, all:
Can someone please recommend a (online) source for quality replacement
batteries for EF Johnson and Motorola commercial handheld radios?
Does anyone have an opinion about CutRateBatteries (available through
Amazon and Walmart)?
Thanks in advance!
