The silver solder SN-96 is 96% Tin 4% Silver has higher melting point it is 430 Degrees, regular 60/40 solder has a melting point of 361 degrees.Using regular 60/40 solder is all you should need for ham radio work. I used to work for a company that made multi-pin connectors and did some Soldering
