Boris Kolpackov updated XERCESC-1791:
-------------------------------------

    Fix Version/s: 3.0.0

Jay, thanks for reporting this!

> Copyright 1998-2004 W3C (MIT, ERCIM, Keio)

This one comes from the schemas in the regression test for XERCESC-1512.
Instead of polluting NOTICE I think we should come up with a minimal test case
which does not reuse any third-party schemas.

> Copyright (C) 1999-2007 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
> Copyright (C) 1994 X Consortium

I am not sure about these two. The files that have these copyrights are copied
into the distribution by the autotools bootstrap process. There are no files
with such copyrights in the repository. I wonder what the policy is on this
case.

> Thanks to the debian ftp masters for noticing this....the apache software
> license requires additional copyrights to be acknowledged in the NOTICE file
> along with the source distribution. Xerces-c has a NOTICE file that
> acknowledges IBM, but searching through all the files with the distribution,
> I also found copyrights assigned to the following other organizations:
> Copyright 1998-2004 W3C (MIT, ERCIM, Keio)
> Copyright (C) 1999-2007 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
> Copyright (C) 1994 X Consortium
> I believe that, in order to be fully compliant with the apache software
> licenses, these should be acknowledged in the NOTICE file as well. In any
> case, they are now acknowledged in the debian copyright file.
