about this bug, where should the notification be seen ?
is it on the launcher/taskbar, like for normal applications which want to
signal an urgency, or in the notification area, with possibly a message bubble ?
in the second case, did you try with the old systray, just to be sure ?

I think that this bug has been fixed by now (we have switched to Xrandr
to handle multi-monitors), can anyone confirm ?

Hi,
as we can see form the traces:
capabilities: 0; 0; 1; 1; 0
the first 2 numbers are for suspend and hibernate.
So, either the doc was not compiled with upower support, or the system is not
configured to authorize suspend/hibernate (which is done through policykit)

My Window-Manager is Compiz 1:0.9.7.8,
whereas, the Cairo-Dock version is 3.0.2-1;
on Ubuntu 12.04.
And I am still suffering from this bug.
