Implementing the basics would be very easy with cake.. ive made some
very simple forum additions already... but the power of the forums is
the admin/moderator area and all these funtions...
I sow somewhere a dbdesigner diagram of PhpNuts plans to build one but
i think he's busy with 1.2 now :)
I mean, it's not free. I did it for myself, and it doesn't have
install or setup. Therefore it requires some assistance to setup
it :-)

I haven't seen anything to date. But I've been thinking it would be
cool to do something like Beast Forum http://beast.caboo.se/ did with
rails. It really wouldn't be rocket science with findAllThreaded().
