We use centOS on our development and test environments but use redhat
for prod. Normally I would feel very uncomfortable with having two
distinct platforms of linux between environments but centOS claims to
be an exacting mirror of RH. Overall, I've enjoyed centOS. It's easy
to use and manage b
gentoo for performance , debian for stability
i heard many ppl use CentOS but i don't have much experience with it.
imo you can't go wrong with debian and centos.

I'd choose Debian for mantainability. Its current stable release is
more recent than Ubuntu LTS,
I know it is a bit out of the main topic of this forum,

Well I'm gonna get a dedicated server, and I can choose betwee Fedora,
Debian and Ubuntu.
Any suggestion both in terms of performance and mantainability?
