Yes, you're right sorry.
So, what I did: first of all I modified /app/config/core.php
uncommenting this line:
//define ('BASE_URL', $_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME']);
Then, I removed the .htaccess (my webserver didn't allow me to use it).
And magically, I got it...it's working althought with the
"/index
and sharing is always nice for future searchers of google ;)

Ok, you were right (sorry if I didn't understand quickly :-))!
Anyway, I uploaded the .htaccess but I'm experiencing a lot of
problems; the question is that Aruba doesn't allow me to modify
anything in the webserver configuration, so I have to work out
something myself. Anyway, I also think they
also in your client look for a setting regarding dot or hidden files.
