Just a random thought - I've been helping a friend get to grips with cake and I know later on he *needs* to be introduced to test-driven development;; wouldn't it be more interesting it to teach the methodologies the other way around? For example, the first thing he would ever write would be a test case for "Hello World!" and then the actual code, make it pass and continue from there?
