if you think this is a bug, you can open a ticket for it: http://cakephp.lighthouseapp.com/projects/42648-cakephp/tickets ideally with some patch and/or test case attached personally, I think it is difficult to truncate a html text correctly in all situations. but maybe there is an easy solution f

I had a play around with this. I thought i was getting better results with using exact => true but I still got spans cut off. I Removed all the inline style and set exact to true and now I can't get it to cut any tags off. Seems like It can't cope with inline styles. Are you doing an email news
