Hi, I could use some clarification about how the core tests are run. I have always seen a bunch of random errors when running them on my system but did not think too much about it. I tried running them on the new stable 1.2 and expected none or a few errors. Not so.
I noticed that at least in some cases my application files were used in the core tests, so something is probably wrong with the way I run them. I was under the impression that the files in cake/tests/test_app were somehow automatically used for the core tests. Should I move that folder to make it the "app" folder? Or do I need to run them on a clean dist "app" with just the database configuration set? It would be great to get some clarification.
