Pumpkin Rum Pound Cake With Cinnamon Orange Rum Glaze

2 (16 oz.) packages pound cake mix
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1-1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

Glaze:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup orange juice
1 (2 inch) stick cinnamon
1/4 cup rum

Prepare pound cake mixes together acording to package directions,
decreasing
the water to a total of 2/3 cup and adding the pumpkin and pie
spices. Turn
inot well greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325ยบ for 1
hour and
20 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove
from pan
and place on serving plate. UIsing long tined fork or skewer, punch
holes in
top of cake at 1 inch intervals. Glaze: In saucepan, combine sugar,
orange
juice and cinnamon stick; bring to a boil. Remove cinnamon and stir
in rum.
Spoon orange glaze very slowly over the cake. Allow the cake to
absorb the
sauce. Continue until glaze is used up.
Spoon any glaze that runs off cake onto plate, back over the cake.
Chill
until serving time.
