Well, I figured out enough to get myself going and it seems worth posting this for sake of closing the loop. I had just installed python 2.7 and it seems that setuptools needs to be added to that package - it's not automatically in there. I was getting this error when I ran ./run Building dat

In reading my own last note, I see that my original problem was likely because of some error in my caldavd-dev.plist file. Perhaps there's been a change in the structure of that, or I somehow managed to create an error of some sort by adding an invalid line. Either way, I can go back and fix that
