Very scary suggestion. The Station Nightclub fire here in New England was
spread by the use of non-fire retardant accoustic treatment. Basically the
scenario you described help to kill 100 people. Do consider fire issues
carefully.
Sorry to be a wet blanket, but sometimes that is what is neede
