I've heard and agree with not doing medleys as the very last dance in any
set. Usually that's when the band is pulling out their hottest tunes, and
it's sub-optimal to be calling over them the entire time.
I'm inclined to reserve them for weekends. If calling at a regular dance I
know can handle
I really like Jo's insight from Nils about how simple alterations can open our
repertoire.
