I'm always hesitant to include dances with swings in a ONS.
Sometimes it can work, but it very much depends on the group. Besides
he was asking about Colonial dances that have been simplified for
non-dancers. Throwing a swing in makes a dance more challenging for
non-dancers and definitely

Jefferson’s Remorse” ( He must have regretted his Dance didn’t have a partner

I often use Jefferson's Reel (modified from Jefferson and Liberty)
at ONS dances. I have also used Money in Both Pockets. This all
assumes the crowd is up to doing duple minor dances, as opposed to whole
set or other formations.

Does anyone have dances that they are willing to share of Colonial period
dances that are adapted to a Party Dance environment for non dances? I
instantly think of Rakes of Mallow (longways) and Haste to the Wedding (as
a Duple Minor).

Called this last night at Greenfield. It's solid. Intermediate, definitely,
