Sumedha, I agree! it is hard to get the dependent builds to work! (for the axis2 build issue to be sorted out it took 2 and half days of mine) but if you comment out the dependents module from the root pom, we should be able to build the rest for sure, rovide that the SNAPSHOT repo has all the

well I tried building trunk using the root pom.xml & this obviously failed due to hundred different reasons mentioned in this thread. Then after manually excluding problematic areas, I was able to get up to the level of building DS & GReg products. But this cost me a full day. And this is defn

I think that in general its dangerous to have things that "cannot" be stored in the Registry. For a distributed setup we need to be able to support as much (everything?) stored in the registry.
