Hi Afie,

I agree with you that the financial module is not complete. It will get
there soon, give them sometime. If you really urgently need a complete
financial module which can interact with Care2x directly, I can
recommend you to you ebizframe from ESS of India which we have integrate
it with Care2x by writing a module to the name, days in the ward,
services being used - such as lab, radiology and etc, and then charge
directly to Ebizframe POS module. But this product will not be an open
source product but it is cost effective to use and an open architecture
solution. So the marriage care2x and ebizframe is beautiful.

Care2x team has been doing an excellent job and I know it takes time to
have a stabilized HIS application that can be use in real running
healthcare organization. I believe that they will be there soon .

My advised is, do get ready your own programmers just in case a
"hick-up" occur especially where socket programming involve.

All you guys have a good day ahead.

Sincerely

MK

Hi,

I totally agree with Eduardo, financial module is a

very important / basic feature that a hospital

application must have.

I have experience in developing, implementing and

maintaining an integrated hospital information system

in Indonesia, its more concentrate on financial /

administration aspects.

When I try Care2x I found that it has totally

different features that my application doesn't have.

It's more concentrate on medical aspects, which is

less important in my country where doctors and nurses

rarely use computer.

I noticed that financial issue has been discussed

several times. One of the interesting issues was to

integrate or not to integrate financial module to

Care2x. In my opinion integration is a must; otherwise

there are too many double entry of transaction. I know

that this is not an easy job; different country has

its own different system. In Indonesia I can even

confirm that different hospital has different

financial / charging system.

I propose to construct Care2x financial module as

add-on module but still integrated with core

application, so different site can implement different

financial module. Interest group of developers can be

created based on financial system similarity.

Regards,

Afie
