Openoffice CD has the version for windows also. Only the windows version
can also be downloaded from www.openoffice.org site, appx. 90MB
download.
Openoffice will give you an output that can be used on all the
platforms.
Also you can export to html and pdf.

I have MS and Powerpoint and still after 20minutes the opening
page is still there and I am not quite sure if there is more coming.
