Hello,
I found out that the compiled java classes of the dicom viewer are
broken. Probably this happened during the migration from CVS to SVN.
I have released patch 2.1.7.2 [1] that contains the fixed class files.
Download it and apply it (just extract) over your existing
installation.

unable to download the patch. The download option
comes out with an error 'HTTP 500 - Internal server
error Internet Explorer '.
It would be nice of you to let me know the path under
which this patch needs to be extracted.

Thanks for directing me to the reports url. I will
take a close look at the same and post my feedback. At
the present moment, i am leaning more towards the BIRT
since our other focus area is in the BI space(Business
Intelligence - Pentaho Project).
