- Any developer can assign the bug to him/herself and determine the

I made my changes. A few things I do not know or were not possible:
- I could not change the Status fields for bugs. However I found a
Resolution option which contains lots of values to manage the
Bugs/Feature Requests. I enabled it.

I vote for the changes you suggest. We really don't need so many
sections if they are seldom used. It is a fact, that the main
communication channel for everything is this mailing list.
