well, the windows version is 4.4.6, linux is at 4.4.9 (4.5 if
you count the beta), so unless you find someone to compile it on windows, you
will have to switch to linux

errr, its seems that parameter is totally outdated, in fact its not used
anymore, some remnent of an old projects.
the area is calculated in BasicTypes.php line 400 or so, in the getArea()
function.
