Sign out for clustered apps simply doesn't work at this time. (The
documentation for clustering the CAS server that you cited has no
bearing whatever on client applications.) We've discussed it in
numerous threads over the past year, so you can search the archives
for more information. See the p
You might be able to do it with the authentication handler that takes an
entire query (I forgot which one that was off the top of my head)

Just the login phase requires affinity (and only if you don't use any form
of session clustering, which most people don't). You can cluster the
backend via a variety of methods.

Malar,
A few questions-
What version of Visual Studio (We've only tested with Visual C++ 2008 Express) ?
What version of OpenSSL (We've only tested with v0.9.8g)?
The error "C:\OpenSSL\include\openssl/ossl_typ.h(178) : error C2059: syntax
error : 'type'" is most likely the root problem.

Hello,
I use jasig-cas wiht JDBC Authentication and I have question, can I add
activity column in database and use it during login, that's mean I would like
to login users where username and password is correct and activity = 1

Hi,
I tried to build mod_auth_cas-1.0.9.1 on windows 2008 64 bit
server using the README.Win32 file instructions. I got the following error:

We are attempting to implement CAS inside an environment where multiple
disparate applications in different clusters will be authenticated using CAS.
All of our applications require High Availability and are cluster, and for the

I've implemented Cas into Intalio; however, after going to Intalio and it
redirects me to CAS and I sign in, it redirects me back to intalio's login
screen which I must login to again in order to get into intalio.
Any one thats don ethis before please share your knowledge ;)
thanks,

I'm back reading the document at
https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASUM/Clustering+CAS which creates some
questions.
Assume I'm running 3.4.5 (or 3.4.6 - question is which is preferred at this
point for my situation of multiple servers behind a LB, with everything stored
in a shared database)?

It's important to note that my fix would still
Note that CAS 3.4.7 fails behind a load balancer if you're not using sticky
sessions but using clustered sessions (its because each server has its own
key).
Marvin's put in a fix to not have to use keys and I'll be cutting the
release later.

Anyone got any idea on this? We had a new issue come through but this

Any idea?
Round 2 - Marvin, thanks for the tips & pointers, I owe you a few...
Based on the thread "CAS 3.4.7 login fails with clustered CAS servers behind
load balancer", it sounds like I should either stick with 3.4.5, or build from
source at this point, and, wait for 4.3.8 to arrive to move up versions
I got it figured out. I was missing config in the deployerConfigContext.xml
and had to recompile Person Directory 1.5RC6 to ignore referrals.
