I have encountered redirect loops with dotnetcas and forms authentication. This
was a while ago for me. But if memory serves it had something to do with the
incorrect path where the cookie was being set. I have seen other CAS clients
just error out, dotnetcas is the only one that loops on me. Is
should tell you what's happening. Are
you sure your IBM DS is set up for password policy correctly?
P.S: Side issue and for the archives, SAML functionality has nothing to do with
CAS. All you should have to do is to enable component scanning per the docs to
get attributes working.

Hello,
I am trying to get LDAP to work with LPPE but am having some issues. This was
working fine with cas 4.0.4. If I enable just LDAP authentication it works
fine, but If I follow the documentation to enable lppe, authentication in CAS
stops working. If I type in a valid username I don't get a
any suggestions on how I can keep a custom role provider but continue
to use CAS with its attributes?
Thanks,
Abhijit.

Hi,
I am working on CasOwa with CAS 3.5.1 on a test instance. I followed these
instructions for clearpass https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASUM/ClearPass. I
have everything working as long as I have clearpass set to accept any proxy. As
soon as I specify clearPassProxyList it starts throwing I
That seems to have been it. Added an Any port rule and it seems to be working
fine now. Can't believe I spent so long on this. Not sure if they will let me
keep that rule when we move to production, but at least I know what to look for
now.
Thanks again guys.

firewall off, the servers started to talk to each other properly. I then
added a rule allowing all IP traffic from each peer server's address and
turned the firewall back on, and it's been working since.
Best regards,

Hello,
I am currently testing CAS server 3.5.1 with load balancing. I have two
servers setup and am using ehcache to sync both repositories. But for some
reason that does not seem to be working. I don’t see any errors in the logs, I
see an entry for a ticket being added to the repository. I
I would look at the tomcat Catalina logs, they should be able to tell you what
is going wrong. I always start with there.

Looks like something is creating a dependency for joda-time-1.6.2.jar while
the cas-server-support-ldap is specifying joda-time 2.1. When I delete the
joda-time-1.6.2.jar from lib and restart tomcat it works fine. Haven't figured
out what is using the 1.6 yet as I couldn't find a dependency for
