The sympathy is greatly appreciated. We have deployed without any changes
to the default jsp by replacing the logo, css and updating strings in the
properties files. It would be excellent to see the UI continue to move in
a direction of allowing customization without altering the jsp, rather
David, I wrote the original code that the wiki post is based on and we are
still using it here at Evergreen on Banner 8. It does support deep linking. I
looked for ways to CASify Banner INB and could never figure out a simple method
to do so.

In the wiki entry you mention attached source for the classes but I
don't see anything attached to the wiki entry.
