Hello,

Just want to clarify a couple of things before I potentially trash my board.....

1) NFS file system

On the NFS guide I'm linked to here:
http://casper.berkeley.edu/svn/trunk/roach/sw/binaries/filesystem/ to get the
NFS. Is etch 2009-07-07 the latest one, or should I be downloading the debian
fs snapshot, 24-10-2012 from github
(https://github.com/ska-sa/roach2_nfs_uboot)?

2) uBoot

uBoot-r2-rev2.bin looks like the latest version but is a couple of years old.
We only bought our roach2-2 last year, so i'm guessing this shouldn't need
messing with?

3) kernel

Again the NFS guide links to something which looks quite old, so the
uImage-roach2-3.16-hwmon on github is the correct latest version?

4) romfs

updating this looks easy enough - are there any issues which could appear here,
in particular anything that could cause irreversible damage?

Lastly, is there an easy way to find which version of the above I'm running,
from within minicom or something?

Thanks in advance

Michael
