Hi Glenn,
Good to hear from you, hope everything is going well with whatever
you're up to these days!
We ended up making the permissions fix you mention, and also found that
the account which is running the casper tools must be the owner of the
'casper_library' directory for it to load properly.
Thanks!
Jason

Hi Jason,
I distinctly remember this problem but couldn't remember the solution.
Digging through old emails I came across this from the esteemed Mark
Wagner, hopefully it helps!
"In case someone else runs into this... I just had this issue that
after 'loading' all the blocksets into Simulink and selecting them in
the browser, it only showed 'No Blocks'. I'm not sure of the cause,
but it turns out I simply needed to change the permissions on
/tmp/LibraryBrowser to a+rwx. "
Take care,
Glenn

Hi All,
I have a question about our simulink libraries at GBO. The
backstory is
that we installed a version (casper_astro_soak_test for Xilinx
14.7) of
the casper tools many years ago during VEGAS development. It has
always
worked fine until sometime in the past year or so, I can't seem to
load
the CASPER DSP blockset library.
When I launch the simulink library browser, all of the libraries
populate correctly except for CASPER DSP blockset. When I click
it, a
window pops up "generating repository for CASPER DSP blockset" for
about
10 seconds, then it closes and the browser says "No Blocks".
I can right-click on CASPER DSP blockset on the left pane of the
library
browser and open the library and all of the blocks are present and
accounted for in the model file. It seems that I can drag blocks
out of
the library model file into a new model without issue.
I can rebuild old designs that contain CASPER DSP blocks without
error,
I just can't see them in the library browser.
As far as I know, nothing has changed with respect to the CASPER
installation, the computer it runs on, etc.
Any idea why they don't show up in the browser? We've confirmed the
correct permissions in /tmp/LibraryBrowser area (based on the
Mathworks
bug report 673978), and even clearing out that area, but that
didn't help.
Thanks in advance!
Jason
