Jim, Does it not provide an xpath location as part of the exception, such as: /a/b/c ? It's supposed to do that. If not, please file a bug report with a sample test case and we'll try to make the validation message more meaningful. Or, if you have the time and want to update the error messages

Hi all, When encountering marshalling validation errors, the resulting Exception text doesn't seem to be very specific, that is, if the schema contains multiple nested elements (say Element A contains Element B which contains Element C, etc), and the validation is failing for a low-level element
