Forgot to mention that our lake feeders are busy with baby Goldfinches, really begging hard from their parents. Fluttering wings and babyish demeanors succeed in getting the parents to really stuff them with birdseed. Seems kind of late, even for these late breeders, isn't it? Carol S. --
