I was pleased (and puzzled, since it's warmer) to finally get a nice flock
of 12 Tree Sparrows at the feeders today, along with the two remaining
White-throats (remember when they used to be springtime migrants?) The
Tree Sparrows were singing so happily that I could hear them through the
window.
Around 2:45 P.M., I spotted an Eared Grebe from the north side of the
boathouse in Aurora. It was somewhere around 1/3rd the way out in the lake. I
first noticed 5 Horned Grebes further north and further out on the lake. As

Pleasant Road, for those that would like to see them. Driving east on Mt

Interlaken village and Powell Rd, we had a WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW along Powell
