No Eared Grebes in Aurora, but 3 Horned. Many Red-breasted Mergs around the lake shore. 3 Mute Swans and a thousand Tundras, but just couldn't make one into a Trumpeter. There was a handsome Hooded Merg. too, up in the village of Cayuga. Bluebirds, Kestrels, etc. and gas is $2.70/9 in

I took a lunch walk today and did not see Peregrine on the Bradfield Cliff. It seem to come only to roost. Hopefully it will nest, though I am not sure how Bradfield building maintenance guys will feel about it! I did see the excited Red-tailed Hawk circling over its future home. Meena At 0

A / The PEREGRINE FALCON dove off a ledge just north of the northwest tower of Bradfield Hall at 6:35am, which would have been dark except for the lights of the greenhouses below. It disappeared northwest out of my view behind a building. No, I didn't see it from home, but from the Plant Scie
