In southern Cayuga County (my experiences in Fleming, Scipio, Genoa,
Venice), if you drive away from the main roads and on secondary, even
tertiary (?), roads along empty farm fields you'll no doubt encounter
flocks of Horned Larks, Snow Buntings, and assorted sparrows pecking
in the plow-s

Hi all,
I've been seeing a Swamp Sparrow off and on throughout the winter on the
north side of the Lab of O building, although more likely in the flooded area
just north of the inner employee parking lot. At some point there may have
been multiple Swamp Sparrows, now that I think about it.
