scolded at me and as it flew up through the vegetation it became trapped by

We have many White-crowned sparrows this morning along with the White-throated
and
Songs. Also banded the first Winter Wren of the season. There's been a major
irruption of Saw-whet Owls reported from Canada and MN so we plan to try our
luck
the next few evenings.
